2005 Popcorn Sales

 

PURPOSE:   To raise money for Troop 9 for the purchase of camping equipment and supplies.

 

HOW THE SALE WILL WORK:

The majority of the popcorn will be sold through 2 sales…

·       Oct 30, 2005 at the 2nd Congregational Church after the 10:30 am Mass

·       In front of a local store (to be announced)

 

The first order for popcorn will be placed on Sept 30th with a delivery date of Oct 15th in time for       the Church sale.

 

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SELL POPCORN ON YOUR OWN:

·       Please use the official order form

·       You may take orders beginning now, HOWEVER the popcorn will not be available for distribution until after Sat Nov 19.

·       Take the order AND collect the money AT THE SAME TIME (I cannot place an order unless             I have the money for your order)

·       Please ask for checks made payable to “Troop 9”

·       You may sell popcorn between now and Nov 1st

·       On Nov 1st I will need to know EVERYONE’S POPCORN SALES AMOUNT as I will be       placing the 2nd and final order for stock on Fri Nov 4th

·       State the purpose of the sale and be polite to all you approach

 

KEY POPCORN DATES:

bulletFri, Sept 30………..first popcorn order due (I place this guestimate order)
bulletSat, Oct 15………...pick-up first popcorn order (Troop will organize this)
bulletSun, Oct 30………..popcorn sale at the 2nd Congregational Church
bulletTues, Nov 1………..all popcorn orders and money to be submitted to Mrs. Broderick
bulletFri, Nov 4…………second and final popcorn order placed (I do this)
bulletSat, Nov 19………..pick-up of second and final popcorn order (Troop will organize this)
bulletAfter Nov 19……...popcorn to be distributed to buyers
