Summer Camp 2005

Camp Read

August 7th  – August 14th

Camp Read is located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.  The Westchester BSA Council runs the Camp.

This will be our sixth year at Camp Read!

The Troop afternoon activities will vary as well – rumor has it that we will be going to the Great Escape Amusement park, that’s right!  We will also be going to the ‘Natural Stone Bridge and Caves.’  In addition, we will be doing some of our usual favorite activities – rafting, zipline, low cope courses, horseback riding and rock climbing.

Summer camp with the Troop is a great way to earn Merit Badges and advance as well as get to spend quality time with Troop scouts.  Parents are welcome to attend as Adult Leaders, younger siblings are not encouraged.

We need to know soon if your son will be going.
