Captain’s Island and Island Beach Campout

When: Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12, 2005
Each Patrol Responsible for Getting
to the Islands
You must have one of your parents fill out and sign the permission slip below
and bring to campout on Saturday. These will be inspected before we
depart.
Food and Equipment: Patrol method
Personal Equipment: You will be camping OUTSIDE. Warm sleeping bags,
ground pad and layered clothing, rain gear and other as per scout handbook.
Wool head gear and gloves highly
recommended. Wear proper foot gear for a hike.
Friday Night Shakedown June 10: Not Required.

Scout member of Troop 9, Greenwich Council, give permission for my son to
participate in campout at Island Beach/Great Captain’s Island located on
Long Island Sound. As a parent of a participant I realize that there are certain
risks of physical injury related camping and I agree to assume the full risk of
any injuries that my child may sustain as a result of his participation in this
camp-out. In case I cannot be reached, I give permission to my son’s
